"Supports to the sport is an obligation to every government"

Acapulco, Guerrero (OEM).- The inauguration of the session of Executive Committee of Pan-American Sport Organization (PASO), presiding by Mr. Mario Vazquez Raña, counted with the attendance of Zeferino Torreblanca Galindo, governor of the State of Guerrero, and Felix Salgado Macedonio, Major of this port, that were distinguished for his support to the sportand the accomplishment of this summit. At his exit of the hall in with act was developed, Major expressed the commitment that implies to State to receive this summit, in which is expected to reach agreements that fortify relationships between governments and National Olympic Committees (NOC), to the advantage of sport. "To receive this summit reflects the absolute commitment of the State and municipal government towards the sport, that encourages to the young people to be part of a healthful society, moving away of other little beneficial activities", he said. Salgado Macedonio, that along with the governor Torreblanca received the Mario Vazquez Raña decoration, expressed that it represents an honor, first of all because he received it of hands of the PASO president, a "strong and innovator leader who has been working for 33 years to advantage of sport". Concerning programs of sport encourage realized on the State, he said that "in Guerrero, in Acapulco, we're absolutely commitment with programs of gratuitous sport, putting at the disposal of people all the State and municipal facilities", because he assured that "supports to the sport is an obligation to every government and every civil servant", to take part in the construction of a "healthful and better" society. |
