"Rio hasn't been so successful without Mr. Mario Vázquez Raña's support"

Acapulco, Guerrero (OEM).- Carlos Nuzman, president of the Brazilian Olympic Committee (BOC), arrived to headquarter hotel of the General Assembly of Pan-American Sport Association (PASO), in this beautiful Mexican port, to take part of this summit, where is expecting to reach important agreements to the advantage of sport.

"It's a pleasure to be here to take part of this summit and to hand the final report of Pan-American Games Rio 2007, the most important organizing experience of a sport joust in Brazil history", he said.

About this event, Nuzman assured that it was a wonderful experience, in which the support of the president of PASO, Mr. Mario Vázquez Raña, was determinant to obtained great results.

"I must offer a special thankfulness to him, because his support, his leadership and his advice, were transcendental to do a good job in organization".

BOC's president also pointed the work of Mr. Mario Vázquez Raña as leader of PASO and specially his determination to reach a true and efficient joined participation of governments and National Olympic Committees to the advantage of sport, promoting agreements as the one that's expecting to reach. Nuzman, who has been recently reelected for a four years period, spoke about his work project in front of Brazilian Olympic Committee, based on tocontinue existing projects, as improve tasks in national bunds and reinforce Olympic special projects.

"We plan continue with special Olympic projects, as the construction of training Olympic center and all the needed infrastructures that supports athletes work, to improve our results. We also expect improve the national bunds tasks", he said.
